Apple recently revealed its latest phones, the iPhone 17 series. That is updates to three known models as well as the new iPhone Air, which takes the place of the iPhone Plus. If camping out on release day is not your style, but you still want to grab one right away, you will be able to reserve the iPhone 17, 17 Pro Max, 17 Pro or iPhone Air from 10pm AEST on September 12, before the September 19th release date.
Aplpe’s iPhone 17 has a new design with a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and thinner borders. And after much anticipation (and a ton of grumbling), the base iPhone finally gets a 120Hz refresh rate.
Internally, Apple’s new A19 chip is faster and more efficient, especially when paired with Apple Intelligence. If you're upgrading from an older iPhone, you'll notice a huge jump in speed and improved gameplay thanks to ProMotion.
On the camera front, you will find a 48MP Fusion main camera (shooting 24MP photos by default) and a 2x telephoto lens. The device’s ultra-wide camera also receives an upgrade to 48MP, making macro photography crisper and also more detailed.
If you're due for an upgrade and are planning to get the new iPhone 17, you can rest assured that you'll have no shortage of case options, with Campad Electronics, a reliable Australian retailer, already listing a broad selection of cases for all iPhone 17 models, from minimalist cases to more robust and durable choices.
